Who this applies to
Virtue Loans is a mortgage brokerage that runs ads and lead forms on Meta platforms and uses the Meta Pixel, Conversions API, Lead Ads, Instagram Graph API, and WhatsApp / Messenger for customer messaging. If you've interacted with us through any of those tools — or through our website, email, or SMS — you can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you.
How to request deletion
Email us
Send an email to samwell@virtueloans.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
Include a few details so we can find your record
- Your full name
- Email address and phone number you used with us
- Facebook or Instagram username, if you contacted us through Messenger, Instagram, or a Meta Lead Ad
- Approximate date of last contact (if you remember)
If you prefer, you can text the request to (201) 551-8363 from the phone number we have on file.
We verify and confirm
To protect your information from fraudulent deletion requests, we may ask one or two follow-up questions to verify your identity. We will not ask for a Social Security Number, full account numbers, or a password.
We delete — within 30 days
Once verified, we will delete your personal information from our CRM, email lists, SMS lists, and Meta Custom Audiences within 30 days. We will email you a confirmation when the deletion is complete. Records we are legally required to retain (see above) will be segregated and purged once the retention period ends.
Removing Virtue Loans from your Facebook account
If you want to remove Virtue Loans (the app "Samwell Ads") from the apps connected to your personal Facebook account, you can do that directly:
- On Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Click Apps and Websites in the left sidebar.
- Find Samwell Ads in the list, click Remove, and confirm.
Removing the app on Facebook tells Meta we should no longer receive data about you through that app. You can also email us using the steps above to delete anything we've already received.
Stop ads from Virtue Loans showing on Meta
Seeing our ads and want them to stop?
- Tap the three-dot menu on any Virtue Loans ad in Facebook or Instagram and choose Hide ad or Report ad → I keep seeing this.
- Adjust your ad preferences under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Ads → Ad settings.
- Email us and we'll remove your contact information from our Custom Audiences.
